Vince Tate

Vince spent the first five years of his career with Deloitte & Touche, a "big four" accounting firm.  At Deloitte & Touche Vince oversaw audits of public and private companies, performed due diligence procedures related to acquisitions, and consulted companies on internal control structures and accounting and reporting processes.  He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1992 and a Certified Management Accountant in 1995.  Additionally, he is a Certified Valuation Analyst, a Certified Business Intermediary and an Arkansas Licensed Real Estate Broker. 

Vince left public accounting to obtain a minority-equity interest in and become the Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") of one of his consulting clients, a rapidly growing oilfield services company.  Vince was instrumental in the sale of that company to a multi-billion dollar public company for $64 million in 1999.  Subsequent to the acquisition, Vince was promoted from CFO to General Manager of two manufacturing plants in Arkansas.   Over his eight years in these roles, Vince oversaw implementations of materials resource planning (MRP) systems, quality systems, health safety and environmental systems, various inventory tracking systems, human resource and employee benefit systems, financial and management reporting systems, engineering and research and development systems and ultimately was responsible for the financial results of operations conducted by over 100 people reporting up through him to corporate headquarters.

Additionally, Vince has experience in turnaround situations including management reorganizations, cost reduction programs, industry benchmarking, and cash flow management.  Vince's combination of broad financial as well as operational experience allow him to quickly assess a situation and propose improvements that can actually be achieved in the real world.

In his spare time, Vince enjoys running marathons, travelling, and spending time with his family.
